Love this! As a fellow creative, I just started learning to use procreate! I’ve been taking classes through skill share. It’s been so fun but I’m incredibly overwhelmed by the choices of art style! I’ll be posting some of my stuff but I’d love to learn more!
Procreate is SO fun. But I was totally overwhelmed at first too. I actually spent a LOT of time doing exactly the same as this morning page — lettering pages and pages of words until I started to learn what brushes I liked and how to best use the program. I’m just starting to get into some texture brushes now and I’m blown away by the potential! I hope you enjoy the learning process and share as you go!!
My handwriting is not the best so I’ve been practicing my tracing other fonts! It’s great - I learned a lot of cool features taking Lisa bardots class on skill share. I’m planning on sharing them soon.
Oh yeah it can take a lot of effort to improve handwriting. I love to write words over and over and then start pushing myself to create new interactions between letters and spacing and shapes. Overall the page looks pretty boring with the same words over and over but the nuances between each iteration are obvious as you look closer. It’s taken me a long time to get more refined with it and I certainly have a looong way to go. But it’s a fun journey!
